VOLUME FOUR – Friday 26th January

We are delighted to invite you to the Fourth session of The Bloomsbury Sets. Hosted by the musical magnificence of the Rooster Boys (EMI/Bullit/Radio 1)

For this, the most original and diverse set yet, we are delighted to announce the following artists for the 26th January, all guaranteed to chase away the January blues and warm the cockles of your musical hearts!

Firstly we welcome Martin Ledner and the Disparate Folk, with some great original energetic folk based material, followed by the cool, dulcet tones of Dan Lyons.

String Dimensions offer a completely new angle on proceedings, taking us to string based instrumental worlds rarely seen and we are thrilled to have tempted these staggeringly brilliant players down to darkest Kent. You can check them out here: http://stringdimensions.com

Then, we move the dials up to eleven and welcome the inspirational, musical wonder that is Sylvain de Saturne, who in between his tireless work in aid of the appalling humanitarian crisis in Calais plays only such minor gigs as Glastonbury. He sings in French but the musical language and emotions are universal.

Then of course we have the perennial sunshine offered by the Roosters, who will be showcasing yet more brilliant and original songs penned by Mr Carl Burgess

Tickets still only a fiver – what for all that? And the loveliness that is Bloomsburys Biddenden?

And fantastic food? And great local ales and cider?? Who says January can’t feel great?
